I have degenerative disc in my back...slipped disc, ruptured disc, bulging disc... its all essentially the same thing. Every so often it goes out.
You need to lose weight, number one. Two, strengthen the ab muscles like never before. Takes all the pressure off your back.
Its a problem you will always have, but can live with and even be as active as you ever have if you are smart about it. Plus, you're still fairly young. You just need to be healthier.
